There are 11 holidays the United States Postal Service (USPS) observes each year. In the year 2024 there are seven holidays that fall on a Monday, two on a Wednesday, and two on a Thursday. All holidays happen to fall on weekdays. This means that there are no holidays occurring on weekends (Saturday or Sunday). As a result, there won't be any need for extra days off during the week to compensate for holidays that fall on weekends.
